Local government representatives, first responders, law enforcement agencies, and health professionals can link to behavioral health information, training, find local treatment providers, and learn to administer and distribute Naloxone. These resources have been cultivated from The NYS Department of Health’s “Addressing the Opioid Epidemic in New York State” website, Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and SIPCW.
Staten Island Connect is a 24/7 call center built to help connect to substance use, mental health, and care management services. Professionals can call (844) 877-7828 anytime, any day to make referrals and appointments. Agents are available to answer calls and connect to a care manager and other resources.
Staten Island PPS is calling together primary care doctors, nurse practitioners, pain management specialists, pharmacists and other prescribers on Staten Island to Take the Safe Prescriber Pledge.
